La Paz to Sucre Via Cochabamba -- A Gorgeous Flight
I am not one to take pictures out of my plane window, but for the flight from La Paz to Sucre via Cochabamba, I made an exception. This had to be the most beautiful flight I´ve ever been on.
We took off from El Alto--a city resting at the comfortable altitude of 13,600 feet--
and seemed to glide down toward Cochabamaba--a city nestled in a valley at a cool 8,500 feet. For the entire flight, we soared alongside the spectacular Cordillera Real mountain range.
At times, the clouds looked more like an ocean out of which a series of jagged islands were peeking.
It was definitely worth the $60 plane ticket.
